Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated expertise as a Teradata Developer, emphasizing regulatory reporting, particularly in FR Y-14Q submissions.
- Comprehensive understanding of Teradata SQL, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT).
- Thorough grasp of data warehousing principles and best practices, especially in the realm of regulatory reporting.
- Experience with ETL tools and methodologies, such as Informatica or Talend, for the integration of regulatory data.
- Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into effective design.
- Proficient in collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders, managing timelines, and providing timely updates - showcasing strong project management capabilities.
- Solid foundation in Teradata concepts and logical/physical database architecture.
- Extensive knowledge in performance tuning and optimization to efficiently manage and process substantial data volumes in Teradata.
- Proficient in SQL programming (views, stored procedures, macros, functions) tailored to user specifications and architectural standards.
- Good understanding of Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing concepts.
- Experience in writing Unix Shell scripts is essential.
- A Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
