Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Job Summary
BrightSpeed is seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Regulatory Reporting function, you will play a critical role in supporting the Company's regulatory reporting cycle, including report preparation, data analysis, compliance, and certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Reporting: Draft, analyze, and submit State and Federal regulatory filing submissions and timely payment of all invoices, as well as other ad hoc duties as assigned.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholder groups to assess, analyze, validate, and ensure accuracy of all data and filings.
- Audit Support: Provide timely and accurate responses to State and Federal audit requests and inquires.
- Reporting Environment: Maintain proper controls, robust documentation, and change management approach for all reporting areas to provide assurance that the Company is operating a best-in-class reporting environment.
- Issue Identification: Identify and communicate issues and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years relevant experience in telecommunications regulatory, compliance, or related disciplines.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Skills: Strong communication and project management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize duties. Proven ability to investigate, analyze, and interpret state and federal regulations. Strong individual contributor that takes complete ownership and accountability of responsibilities given the deadline-oriented nature of the position.
- Technical Skills: Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel. Attention to detail. Strong organizational, data analysis, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge: Knowledge of the Federal Universal Service Fund (FUSF) and State Universal Service Funds (SUSF).
- Experience: Experience with telecommunications accounting and billing processes, systems, and procedures. Experience with the FUSF exemption certification process.
