Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Governance Analyst to join our team at Truist. As a key member of our governance and risk management team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and monitoring of governance programs related to our regulatory reporting function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of governance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and assess risk exposure within our regulatory reporting framework and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective controls and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular risk and control assessments to ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain risk and control documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of walk-throughs and testing for specific risk programs.
  • Foster relationships with peers, management, and business partners to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of risk management experience in financial services or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management principles.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant professional certification, such as CPA or CISA.
  • Experience in control testing in a public accounting firm.
  • Financial services or specialized industry experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reports produced within the financial services industry.
