Job Summary

NEW BEDFORD MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS INC is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Resident Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide personal care services, such as incontinent care and assistance with meals.
  • Transport residents to and from activities, appointments, and meals.
  • Engage residents in activities and provide companionship, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the charge nurse or nurse manager.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a care-giving role, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
