Job Responsibilities:
As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas through thorough cleaning practices.
- Performing various cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and disinfecting.
- Managing waste disposal and maintaining cleanliness of housekeeping carts.
- Assisting with laundry duties, including washing and folding linens.
- Participating in training sessions and adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cleaning practices and safety procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to:
- Lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Utilize cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
