About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to oversee and manage the sales activities of manufacturer representatives within a specific geographical region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, setting sales targets, monitoring sales performance, providing training and support to manufacturer representatives, and building relationships with key customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of manufacturer representatives, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure they achieve their sales targets.
  • Develop sales plans and strategies for your region to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Prepare and conduct joint sales calls as well as sales presentations to customers and prospects with the manufacturer representatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners in your region to identify business opportunities, foster loyalty, and promote the company's products or services.
  • Track and analyze sales manufacturers' performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and tactics.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Vice President of Sales on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure the manufacturers' representatives comply with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends to effectively promote and sell products or services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop new products and services that meet the needs of customers in the region.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of sales experience in the electrical manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum of three years of experience managing a sales rep team.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Three or more years of experience in utilizing sales CRMs.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
  • Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience in the relay control house manufacturing.
  • Two or more years of experience working in the utility market.
