Job Summary:

The Virtual Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, including month-end processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, sales commissions, and accounts payable. This role will report directly to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for executing and coordinating physical inventory, performance management, and payroll and AP functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and accounts documenting business transactions
  • Prepare GL Account and Bank Reconciliation
  • Prepare financial statements and other reports to summarize the company's financial position
  • Maintain Accounting Policy database
  • Assist in preparation for internal and external audits
  • Develop financial analysis and cost accounting skills
  • Responsible for execution and coordination of physical inventory
  • Performance Management for any direct reports
  • Oversee payroll and AP functions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts and GAAP
  • Three (3) years Plant Manufacturing experience
