Job Summary:
We are looking for a committed Patient Intake Specialist to become part of our medical team.

Your responsibilities will include welcoming patients, documenting their personal information, collecting medical histories, and obtaining any health insurance details they may possess.

To excel in this role, you should be exceptionally organized and detail-oriented. Ideal candidates will also demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Greeting patients upon arrival.

Completing all necessary admission documentation and entering it into our digital systems.

Confirming medical insurance coverage and benefits for each patient.

Coordinating appointments for consultations, tests, and procedures.

Responding to phone and email inquiries.

Addressing any patient concerns or complaints.

Performing administrative tasks, including filing, copying, and faxing.

Preparing and maintaining patient records.

Adhering to the regulations and policies of the organization.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.

A minimum of two years' experience in patient intake or medical office administration.

Strong customer service orientation.

Familiarity with office management and filing systems.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in computer applications.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
