Key Responsibilities:
- Software Proficiency: Utilize HHA Exchange Software daily.
- Patient Data Management: Enter and verify patient information in E-Pace for accuracy.
- Insurance & Authorizations: Handle major insurances, obtain necessary authorizations from MLTC, and address any denials or discrepancies.
- Billing & Documentation: Submit accurate patient information, resolve pre-billing issues, and monitor daily attendance, Medicaid eligibility, and discharged cases.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication across departments to ensure smooth processing of patient cases.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience: Minimum of one year in an office environment (required).
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish (required).
