Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collection Specialist to join our team at Clark Hill PLC. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a unique blend of financial acumen, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and manage a portfolio of accounts to identify and pursue outstanding debts.
- Investigate historical data to understand debtors' financial situations and identify opportunities for recovery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure timely payments and resolve any disputes or issues that may arise.
- Process payments and refunds, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations related to debt collection, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve collective goals and share best practices in debt recovery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in debt collection or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- High level of technical proficiency, with expertise in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and achieving goals.
Preferred Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Experience with Elite accounting and/or ARCS collections software.
- Previous experience as a professional skip tracer or legal research assistant.
