Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department, ensuring seamless execution of cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Provide direction and support to Room Attendants and Housemen, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inspect all guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Desk and Engineering, to ensure seamless communication and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with our hotel's standards and policies.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering open communication and teamwork among housekeeping staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge and expertise to continuously improve our housekeeping operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience in a luxury hotel or comparable environment.
  • Excellent English, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
