Job Summary

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a highly skilled Program Administrator to join our team. This individual will provide administrative management and coordination of various business-related functions, including budgeting, scheduling, finance, personnel, space and facilities planning, contracting, grant administration, academic support, and policy interpretation and dissemination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor key access and revenue metrics, analyze data, research outliers, and assist in implementation of process improvement.
  • Provide overall administrative support to service line leadership and providers, including human resource functions, budgeting, capital equipment, inventory, documentation, and billing.
  • Coordinate and manage various service line projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Manage faculty calendars and schedules, including clinical and educational time, and other time-sensitive meetings.
  • Update faculty's curriculum vitae and/or bio sketches as needed, assist with preparation of promotion and tenure packets, and prepare letters of recommendation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field, plus four years of experience managing complex programs or processes, or high school diploma/GED, plus seven years of professional or healthcare administration experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with intermediate-level proficiency and EPIC experience.
  • At least five years of experience preparing executive-level reports and correspondence, including letters, resumes, CVs, letters of reference, and other general and professional correspondence and documents.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field, plus five years of professional and executive-level support, correspondence, and writing correspondence in a professional capacity.
