We are currently hiring for a Senior Manager of Grid Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), who will lead and manage all aspects of engineering, procurement, and construction activities for grid-connected energy storage projects, with a specific focus on battery-attached systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the end-to-end EPC process for battery-attached energy storage systems, including site assessment, design, procurement, and construction.
  • Lead the civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure the integration of energy storage systems into grid infrastructure.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes, electrical codes, and safety standards.
  • Develop and manage procurement strategies for equipment, materials, and services.
  • Direct the construction process, ensuring that projects are built according to specifications, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Ensure the proper integration of energy storage systems with grid power distribution networks.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with EPC projects, including technical, financial, and regulatory risks.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers, project managers, and support staff.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, procurement, and construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with grid-connected energy storage systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering, electrical grid infrastructure, battery storage systems, power distribution, and code compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
