Job Title: Behavioral Health Therapist

At Brightview Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based therapy to individuals struggling with substance abuse.

Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Care:
    • Develop and lead group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments.
    • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create treatment plans and review progress.
    • Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques to support patients.
    • Establish treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
    • Deliver independent therapy sessions for patients with Substance Use Disorder.
    • Demonstrate expertise in individual counseling and conduct occasional individual sessions.
  • Coordination and Collaboration:
    • Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
    • Attend required meetings, including staff meetings, supervision, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
    • Effectively manage a caseload of patients.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Timely and accurately document all necessary treatment data into the electronic patient health record.
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory and company compliance requirements.
  • Training and Mentorship:
    • Provide training and onboarding support for new hire Counselor I.
    • Offer training and mentorship to new hire counselors within the site or adjacent clinics.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Required: 1+ year experience as Counselor I or other relevant experience.
    • Preferred: 2+ years' experience in a relevant field.
  • Education:
    • Required: Consistent with state-level regulation and requirements, at minimum a Masters Degree.
    • Preferred: Masters Degree.
  • Licenses and Certifications:
    • REQUIRED: Active clinical licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements.
    • Licensure preferred: LSW, LPC, MFT, LPCC, LICDC, LISW, LMFT.
