Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio. As a key member of our Student Support Services department, you will be responsible for assessing, coordinating, and implementing behavior analysis services and interventions for students with complex behaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop behavior intervention plans for students with complex behaviors
  • Provide professional learning opportunities to staff on behavior analysis methodologies and intervention techniques
  • Conduct assessments and develop plans that conform to IDEA, Ohio law, and regulations
  • Develop and implement behavioral services at all three RTI Tier levels
  • Collaborate with public and private agencies to offer recommendations and consultation on social skills and behavior prevention
  • Provide direct intervention services to students with inappropriate behaviors
  • Manage assaultive behaviors using best practices and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI)
  • Provide clinical supervision of Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBT)
  • Attend county, district, and staff meetings as adopted in the district's calendar
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Appropriate Ohio Educational License through the Ohio Department of Education
  • Appropriate Board Certified Behavioral Analyst License
  • Demonstrates a sincere desire to aid all students
  • Good health, high moral character, and good attendance record
  • Physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions
  • Shall meet requirements for employment governed by federal and state laws
Working Conditions
  • Occasional exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and tissue
  • Occasional operation of a vehicle under inclement weather conditions
  • Occasional interaction among unruly children
