**Location:** Japan (Renewable Contract)

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Specialist Nuclear to join our team at Chronos Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting seismic and structural analysis of nuclear structures for Small Modular Reactors (SMRs).

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct finite-element modeling, analysis, and post-processing for buildings and civil structures.
  • Utilize ANSYS Mechanical APDL for structural analysis.
  • Develop knowledge of harmonic analysis for structures.
  • Familiarize yourself with ACI, ANSI/AISC N, ASCE 4, 43, and 7 standards.
  • Gain expertise in soil-structure interaction analysis.
  • Communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).

**Requirements:**

  • Ability to conduct complex structural analysis and modeling.
  • Strong understanding of nuclear structure design and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English language.
