About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Med Technologist to join our team at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC. As a Nuclear Med Technologist, you will perform in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides, dose patients with radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals as prescribed by the physician’s orders, and under the supervision of the radiologist. You will also complete quality control and quality assurance procedures as required by the hospital and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides
  • Dose patients with radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals as prescribed by the physician’s orders
  • Complete quality control and quality assurance procedures as required by the hospital and the NRC license
  • Ensure complete and accurate data entry in the Hospital Information System (HIS) and Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS)
Requirements
  1. Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or CNMT
  2. Advance Registration in PET optional
  3. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  4. PET/CT experience is also preferred
