Role Overview:
The Embedded C++ Engineer will play a pivotal role in the integration of advanced automated driving functionalities, specifically focusing on SAE Level 2 and 3 features, AUTOSAR standards, and the development of operating system and ECU-specific software. Key responsibilities include:
- Development of foundational software layers
- Integration adhering to functional safety standards
- Configuration of AUTOSAR layers
- Integration of middleware solutions
The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of safety-critical embedded software development for electronic control units and a keen interest in cutting-edge automated driving technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded software development using C/C++/Python
- Proficiency in Board Bringup, Bootloader integration, and OS/OSEK/RTOS development
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, SPI, and Ethernet
- Experience with software integration and configuration tools (e.g., Emulators, Debuggers, CANoe/CANalyzer)
- Hands-on experience with building and configuring RTOS/OS like QNX/Linux
- Expertise in debugging and troubleshooting embedded software on target hardware
Essential Skills:
- At least 2 years of embedded software development experience in C/C++/Python
- Experience with RTOS/Operating Systems such as QNX and/or Linux
- Background in device driver development, BSP, and Board Bring-up tasks
- Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting embedded software on target hardware
- Familiarity with embedded software development and debugging tools such as IDEs, Emulators, Debuggers, and JTAG
