Compensation: Starting salary at $80,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for all personnel on-site.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with employees and subcontractors to ensure prompt reporting of incidents.
  • Lead and participate in incident investigations, ensuring follow-up on corrective measures.
  • Conduct and assist with Site Safety and regulatory audits.
  • Support personnel in executing daily tasks in alignment with established Site Safety protocols.
  • Oversee ongoing demolition operations and ensure compliance by all workers and contractors.
  • Interpret and communicate relevant safety regulations effectively.
  • Develop and disseminate safety communications and alerts for the area.
  • Contribute to company-wide safety communication efforts.
  • Provide coaching to employees and subcontractors regarding safety expectations and performance standards.
  • Assist with employee health and workers' compensation matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or certification in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred. A combination of education, experience, and training may be considered.
  • 2-5 years of experience in relevant fields, particularly in demolition site settings, with experience in DoD, DOE, and federal sites being advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, teamwork, and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, often in proximity to heavy machinery and varying weather conditions.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver equipment and tools, with a lifting capacity of up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to enter and exit vehicles frequently and navigate rough terrain.
