Position Summary

The Customer Care Associate II plays a crucial role in managing a high volume of inbound calls, delivering exceptional customer service related to property insurance. This position involves assisting borrowers and insurance agents/carriers by gathering detailed information, guiding them on submitting proof of property insurance, de-escalating issues, processing complaints, and managing insurance disbursements.

About Lender Services

Lender Services (NGLS) serves as the financial division of National General, collaborating with home mortgage lenders to manage various business processes, including customer service, loss drafts, and insurance operations.

Role Expectations:

Trainee/Rookie Camp:

We offer motivated individuals the chance to gain industry experience in a customer support capacity. Paid training, both in-class and hands-on, will be provided. You will learn essential insurance knowledge to assist with inbound and outbound calls, research, and information gathering, as well as support customers with general property insurance inquiries and confirm escrowed insurance premium payments. Upon meeting and exceeding NGLS KPIs, you will advance to the Customer Care Associate role.

Customer Care Associate Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in obtaining proof of property insurance coverage
  • Ensure timely receipt and payment of insurance premiums for escrowed loans
  • Handle incoming calls from borrowers or property damage claims

Key Duties:

  • Meet and exceed NGLS KPIs
  • Build and maintain relationships with leadership and team members
  • Develop and manage customer relationships, serving as a resource
  • Deliver accurate and timely support to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Update records and maintain system documentation

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and foster customer relationships
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
