LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Nephrology - Days and Nights Available

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Nephrology team at OU Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
About the Role:This is a full-time position working days and nights, with a 36-hour workweek. You will be responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients on the Nephrology Unit, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Participate in focused assessments and reassessments of patients, collecting and recording objective and subjective data in a timely and accurate manner.
- Report patient conditions and changes in condition to the healthcare team, as well as signs and symptoms that deviate from normal health status.
- Assist in implementing the nursing plan of care, considering safety in practice and prioritizing patient needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate patient responses to care and contribute to the modification of the nursing plan as needed.
- Provide care consistent with the American Nurses Association's Code of Ethics for Nurses and the assigned clinical area's Standards of Care and Professional Performance.
- LPN degree from an accredited institution.
- Current Oklahoma Board of Nursing LPN license or a current multi-state compact LPN license (eNLC).
- Specific care environment certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
- One or more years of experience preferred.
