OU Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Surgical Oncology team at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
About the Role:- Assist with nursing assessments, data collection, and vital sign monitoring for assigned patients.
- Provide care according to established nursing plans and protocols.
- Observe patient changes and notify supervisory personnel as needed.
- Administer medications and perform various nursing procedures, including ostomy care and oxygen therapy.
- Prepare patients for physical examinations and assist physicians during exams.
- Graduation from an approved LPN program.
- Current LPN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact LPN license.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
