LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Nephrology - Nights

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Nephrology team at OU Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Job Summary:Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the LPN will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist with patient assessments, including vital sign collection and data entry.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Perform routine medical procedures, such as ostomy care and nasogastric tube placement.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to supervisory personnel.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Current LPN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in nephrology or a related field.
