Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our store team. As a General Manager, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a growth-oriented sales culture to achieve store business performance results.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experiences through the application of the Five Below service model.
  • Anticipate customer needs and create an amazing store environment.
  • Validate execution and maintenance of all company merchandising and operational standards.
  • Lead execution and maintenance of all Five Below services.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience required. Multi-unit experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Previous experience leading direct reports.
  • Experience in managing multiple stores and high unit output.
  • Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cash wrap, and office; lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately.
  • Ability to operate the register, stand, and walk for multiple hours.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends, and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required).
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Expertise in store systems and operational controls.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to customers, team, and supervisor.
  • Ability to lead, direct, and execute multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proficient computer/technology skills (Outlook, Excel, Web navigation).
