Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Security Consultant to join our team in Arlington, VA. As an expert in industrial security policy and procedures, you will provide guidance and support to management on best practices, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review, analyze, and develop recommendations for OUSD(I&S) on national security implications of proposed transactions submitted to CFIUS;
  2. Participate in the development, review, and coordination of all policy issuances for industrial security;
  3. Support review of industrial security letters about national level issues affecting DoD, non-DoD, and defense industrial base;
  4. Participate in sessions unique to cleared defense industrial base such as NISPPAC and other working group meetings.

Requirements:

  1. Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance;
  2. Bachelor's degree from accredited university with at least ten years of experience working with DoD and national level industrial security policies and procedures;
  3. Five years of experience handling national level industrial security related issues affecting DoD, non-DoD, and defense industrial base, with demonstrated experience in providing recommendations to resolve issues based on policy;
  4. Three years of experience developing policy, including drafting, formatting, tracking, staffing, reviewing, and reconciling inputs to DOD Directive(s), Instruction(s), Manual(s), and other publications;
  5. Three years of experience in providing support for key working groups such as National Industrial Security Policy Program Advisory Committee and Defense Industrial Base Cyber Security Program;
  6. Three years of experience in completing staff actions within established deadlines in response to Directorate, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff, and/or Component leadership actions and requests about all facets of Industrial Security Program;
  7. Three years of experience in developing, updating, and coordinating policy, and developing action memos, congressional responses, briefings, background research, oversight visits, and participating in inter and intra agency meetings;
  8. Ten years of policy or operational experience and experience as a staff action officer within DoD, OSD, and/or Military Component.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Security Fundamentals Professional Certification from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency or equivalent certification.
