Job Description

Incorporating innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance clinical outcomes, productivity, and effectiveness is a key aspect of this role.

The successful candidate will coordinate interactions with various CVMC departments, physician practices, healthcare facilities, and agencies as needed.

Collaboration with the Data Analytics Department is essential to analyze market share, identify potential new sources of patients, and evaluate their feasibility.

This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a program focused on continuously assessing and improving the performance of care and services.

Annual performance reviews will assess the success of performance improvement activities and facilitate improvements as needed.

Effective communication of relevant information to staff members, physicians, managers, and others through regular meetings or other appropriate mechanisms is crucial.

Serving as a liaison between Administration, staff, and physicians, remaining available and accessible, is a key responsibility.

This role involves developing, implementing, and enforcing protocols and procedures that guide and support the provision of quality services across the continuum of care.

Reviews and revises these protocols every three years or as needed.

Providing leadership, direction, resources, support, and oversight of the program in accordance with objectives and standards established by the hospital, including safety and infection control, is essential.

Abiding by State and Federal laws and regulations, including CAP and Joint Commission standards, is a critical aspect of this role.

Managing the service lines' financial performance, including budget preparation, administration, and monitoring, planning for future capital purchases, developing pro forma for new services, and monitoring accurate coding and charging for services, is a key responsibility.

Establishing and monitoring annual goals for the service line is also a critical aspect of this role.

Ensuring prompt, efficient, and quality services through coordination and integration of patient care is a key objective.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiology with current ARRT registration or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with current NC RN license or licensure from Nursing Compact State.
  • ACLS certification within three months of employment date.
  • Three years of experience, including quality assurance and progressive management experience.
  • Analytical skills, independent judgment, and the ability to work with a team.
  • Proficiency in all areas of the laboratory.
  • AVP-Clinical Support, Masters degree.
  • RTCV/RCIS/RCES certifications.
  • Past experience as a Cardiac Cath or Interventional Radiology Director.
  • Project management experience.
