Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Compensation and Benefits Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless processing of bi-weekly payrolls. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality will be invaluable assets in this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate tax filing reports and assist with voluntary deduction reports.
  • Process involuntary deductions, such as levies and garnishments.
  • Prepare accounting transactions and documents.
  • Document and update procedures.
  • Prepare special reports for senior management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-7 years of payroll experience, preferably with filing payroll tax returns.
  • Prior work experience collaborating with HRIS and IT systems.
  • Solid understanding of payroll and taxes.
  • Proficiency in Lawson and Kronos software.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles related to payroll and tax administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Education and Certifications

A minimum of an Associate's degree in accounting or finance is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. A Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is also highly valued.
