About the Role

Park View is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources/Payroll Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources and payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management: Process payroll, prepare bi-weekly payroll, update schedules in time clock, review and track hours worked, and monitor overtime.
  • Employee Onboarding: Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Employee Relations: Advise management in the resolution of employee relations issues.
  • HR Administration: Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Recruitment and Training: Administer new hire orientation, interview, hire, and train employees.
  • Performance Management: Plan and assign performance appraisals, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • Employee Counseling and Disciplinary Actions: Monitor employee counseling, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Advise management regarding hiring decisions, equal employment opportunity, compensation, benefits, and health/safety issues.
  • Employee Records: Prepare employee personnel files to ensure federal and state compliance, complete reference checks, criminal background checks, and professional license checks.
  • Corporate Liaison: Work as a liaison with Corporate HR.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience leading a human resource or operations department within Skilled Nursing.
  • Payroll experience.
  • HR responsibility experience.
  • Knowledge of employment laws.
  • Knowledge of nursing staffing, such as OnShift.
