Job Description

Daystar Television Network is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to enhance our business intelligence and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting on data from various sources, with a strong focus on data visualization and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance data reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Connect and integrate data from CRM and SaaS platforms, particularly HubSpot and Salesforce, to create comprehensive and actionable reports.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, tailoring communication to the audience's technical level.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data reporting and analysis.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge, offering support, and participating in team activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data reporting and analysis, with a strong portfolio of work using tools like Power BI, Looker, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience working in SQL environments.
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce) and SaaS platforms as data sources.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable way.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in data reporting.
  • Must be a born-again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data visualization best practices.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality management.
  • Experience with API integrations for data extraction and automation.
