The Senior Capital Projects Manager will oversee significant capital initiatives from inception through to completion. This role involves identifying and articulating project needs, followed by the formulation of project scope and strategic plans to fulfill those needs. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, utilizing project management expertise, methodologies, and tools to support substantial capital endeavors ranging from $5 million to over $100 million. This position is primarily remote, but you should expect to travel 30-50% of the time to collaborate with project teams during the execution phase.

  • Assess and approve project cost estimates, financial reports, and timelines

What You Will Bring to Cabot Corporation
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil preferred). An advanced degree in business or engineering management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in formal Project Management methodologies is essential, with a preference for recognized PM certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional through PMI or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the chemical or related sectors, including at least 5 years in project management for large capital projects exceeding $20 million. International project management experience is advantageous.
