Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Alignment Technician to join our team at BIG O TIRES - Sellersburg. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing alignments and fluid changes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide fast and friendly service to customers, promoting sales through explaining the benefits of our services and products.
  • Technical Expertise: Safely operate customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions, maintain a clean environment, and utilize company checklists to ensure consistent adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate vehicle lifts and other equipment needed to complete servicing, and upkeep alignment equipment with the help of management and vendors.
  • Communication: Maintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, vendors, and customers, and keep the manager informed of any maintenance problems or issues that need attention.
Requirements
  • Availability: Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
  • Reliability: Reliable transportation to work.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials, consistently operate a computer, printer, and alignment equipment, and safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds, and remain in a stationary position (standing and/or driving) for up to nine hours per shift.
  • Qualifications: Proven record of service and leadership, knowledge on aligning front and rear axles, shims, and other related components.
