Position Overview

Are you interested in joining Big O Tires - Sellersburg as an Automotive Sales and Service Consultant? In this role, your primary objective will be to enhance customer satisfaction, build loyalty, and drive sales performance. If you possess a background in service sales, a successful sales history, and a strong dedication to providing exceptional service, we would like to hear from you. This position operates in a dynamic environment, requiring multitasking abilities, a friendly demeanor, and outstanding customer service and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improve customer satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service experiences
  • Acquire thorough knowledge of all products, services, warranties, and maintenance options
  • Stay informed through ongoing training and vendor resources
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Assist fellow sales or service team members as needed to exceed customer expectations
  • Help maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Participate in receiving goods, managing inventory, and showroom presentation
  • Follow safety protocols as outlined in company policies
  • Communicate basic automotive inspection results to customers
  • Utilize computer systems for ordering tires and parts, as well as processing shipment requests
  • Manage incoming and outgoing purchase orders in accordance with store guidelines
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in tire and automotive service sales
  • Strong understanding of automotive services and tire sales
  • Effective leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Exceptional customer service and communication capabilities
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Proficient in preventive maintenance sales
  • Consistently maintain a professional appearance
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and self-motivation
  • Able to manage multiple tasks effectively
