Job Summary

At Big O Tires - Sellersburg, we are seeking a skilled Fluid and Tire Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle inspections, maintaining company documents, and servicing/performing maintenance of tires, wheels, and fluid systems in an accurate and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any issues or needed repairs.
  • Tire and Wheel Services: Mount and dismount automotive tires, install new wheels, and attach and re-balance wheels.
  • Fluid Maintenance: Perform oil changes, fluid flushes, and maintenance on vehicles.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and restock as needed.
  • Training and Safety: Participate in training programs and follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work.
  • Availability: Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds and remain in a stationary position for up to nine hours per shift.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and prior experience in a related field.
