About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Business Partner to join our team at Grange Insurance Association. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Learning Strategies: Partner with HR, leaders, and stakeholders to create a cohesive learning strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  • Design and Deliver Training Programs: Create engaging and effective training materials and lead sessions that enable learners to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
  • Technical Departmental Training: Develop and deliver training curriculum for Claims, Operations, and Underwriting departments.
  • Skills-Based Training: Design and deliver training programs that focus on specific skills and competencies across the organization.
  • Training Delivery and Evaluation: Use a combination of delivery methods, including virtual, in-person, and asynchronous training, and track, report, and evaluate training programs for participation and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Experience in Learning and Development: 4+ years of experience in Learning and Development, applying adult learning principles to professional development.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in Claims or Underwriting, preferably in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.
  • Instructional Design and Content Creation: Proven experience in instructional design and content creation, with a focus on creating engaging and effective training materials.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in HR, Training & Development, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field, and relevant certifications or training in instructional design and learning management systems.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong research, planning, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Competitive Compensation: A competitive salary range of $72,933 - $102,723, depending on experience.
  • Flexible Work Arrangements: A hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the Seattle office.
