Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate company vehicle to service clients across NJ / NY (Gas Card & EZ PASS Provided).
  • Collaborate with management and clients to diagnose pest issues and implement appropriate service protocols.
  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation and route logs in a timely manner.
  • Apply pest control materials to structures as required.
  • Engage in direct communication with clients to address their concerns.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation with legible handwriting.
  • Exhibit physical stamina to navigate challenging environments, including bending and kneeling.
  • Understand basic electrical and plumbing systems to address infestations effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills when advising clients on treatment options.
  • Pay close attention to detail during pest detection and treatment processes.
  • Be willing to learn and adapt to new pest control techniques and industry advancements.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of both interior and exterior areas to identify pest threats.
  • Set traps for rodents, including mice and rats.
  • Apply perimeter treatments for ants and other common insects.
  • Safely remove nests of wasps, hornets, and bees.
  • Utilize bait to manage rodent populations.
  • Seal entry points to prevent rodent access.
  • Recommend effective pest control products and services to clients.
  • Exhibit a consistent work history.
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortably handle insect and rodent pests in various conditions.
  • Ability to read and comprehend product labels in English.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of reference and background checks.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Pesticide Operator or Applicator License is preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience as a Pest Control Technician is preferred.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed.
  • Participation in phone and office interviews.
