Job Overview

The Construction Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the execution of projects, ensuring that all aspects of construction are conducted in a compliant and efficient manner. This position is responsible for maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship and supervising the workforce on-site. The supervisor will also enforce safety regulations and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator and mediator, acting as the primary liaison between the client and the project team. Strong leadership skills are essential, as the supervisor will need to effectively manage and resolve any challenges that arise on-site.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and document daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Guide field personnel in alignment with project plans and company principles.
  • Provide daily updates on issues, performance, and project progress to the Project Administrator.
  • Promptly report any issues to the Project Administrator to identify cost-effective solutions.
  • Seek guidance from the Project Administrator regarding materials, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and inspections as per the project schedule.
  • Efficiently assign work orders and manage the workforce for optimal productivity.
  • Scheduling
    • Maintain project schedules, ensuring that work aligns with contractual obligations and client expectations.
    • Update the project schedule as necessary.
  • Safety Management - Conduct daily reviews of the project site to ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and the specific safety plan.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Establish and integrate key performance benchmarks into the project schedule.
    • Ensure all inspections are documented and communicated effectively to the project team.
    • Maintain work quality that meets company standards and client satisfaction.
  • Administrative Duties
    • Complete daily reports and maintain logs of significant activities, files, and drawings.
    • Oversee the quality and condition of all material deliveries.
    • Ensure compliance with safety reporting and maintain all required documentation to company standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction-related fields.
  • Experience should reflect the specific characteristics of each project, including size, complexity, and sector.
