Site Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Site Instructor to join our team at Be Strong International. As a Site Instructor, you will play a vital role in providing support to the Site Supervisor with the after-school program, focusing on child safety, enrichment, and operational support.

• Manage student sign-in/out procedures and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with activities, snack distribution, and mandated curricula.
• Ensure confidentiality, detail, documentation, and professional conduct.
• Be adaptable, handle emergencies, and create a positive learning environment.
• Support administrative tasks and engage with parents/caregivers.

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
• English language proficiency.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish or Creole) is a plus.
• Available to work required program hours.
• Proficiency in computer skills and programs such as Microsoft Office.
• Reliable personal transportation and personal cell phone.

The Site Instructor should possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Must demonstrate a high level of responsibility and attention to detail. The role requires someone who can create a positive, enriching environment for students, with a genuine interest in child development.

This position is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear. The position requires extensive computer use so the employee must have sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard and be capable of reading a computer screen. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
