Preferred Qualifications:
6 years of experience in privacy functions.

Experience in conducting comprehensive privacy or security evaluations. Proven ability to collaborate with legal teams, marketing, public relations, software engineers, security experts, and product managers. Technical proficiency in software service architecture, implementation, and network protocols. Strong understanding of security and privacy challenges and solutions within software systems, services, and infrastructure.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will leverage your technical knowledge to oversee intricate, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, assess risks, manage project timelines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners throughout the organization.

You will be adept at articulating your team's analyses and recommendations to executives while also engaging in technical discussions regarding product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Within this range, individual compensation is influenced by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities:
Guide engineering teams throughout product development to ensure transparent data collection and usage practices that safeguard user privacy and mitigate risks.

Lead privacy and security assessments of the architecture, design, and implementation of Fi's software systems.
Conduct technical and policy evaluations to identify and escalate potential privacy and security issues.

Work collaboratively across teams within Fi and the broader Devices and Services sector to enhance privacy and security practices.

Contribute proactively to the development of new privacy and security features and tools.
