Old Dominion is currently looking for an Appointment Specialist to become part of our OD Family Culture. This position is crucial in managing company appointments for both current and prospective clients in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment through phone and email communications. The Appointment Specialist plays a vital role in helping us fulfill our commitments to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
  • Input appointments into the system promptly.
  • Provide general customer service by responding to inquiries, tracking shipments, and assisting customers with documentation.
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, ideally within the transportation sector.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with AS400 is a plus.
Working Days:
Monday to Friday

Working Shift:
AM / PM
