Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead automation initiatives, managing capital projects typically valued between $5 million and $20 million.
  • Work closely with the Controls Engineering Manager on strategic renovation and capital projects.
  • Design, troubleshoot, and enhance automated control systems, focusing on robotics, packaging, and Allen Bradley systems.
  • Program and adjust packers, robots, automated transport vehicles, and human-machine interfaces, utilizing your skills in ladder logic and control systems.
  • Provide technical assistance across all company facilities, ensuring successful equipment acquisition, start-up, and integration.
  • Travel requirements of 20% – 40% to various plant locations for project execution and support.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in controls engineering, with a solid foundation in automation and robotics.
  • Expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems, particularly with Allen Bradley systems, robotics, and ladder logic.
  • Ability to modify and program automation equipment, with a talent for adapting to new technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to navigate complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to support various projects across the organization.
