Forefront Dermatology is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out.

Responsibilities
  • Perform opening and closing clinic duties, including preparing for the next day's appointments
  • Greet patients, check them in for appointments, and verify insurance information
  • Scan documents into the electronic health record and maintain the tidiness of the waiting area and reception counter
  • Check schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments throughout the day and schedule follow-up appointments as needed
  • Respond to designated tasks in the electronic health record, order office supplies, and sell and track cosmetic products
  • Distribute mail and prepare for next day scheduled appointments
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity preferred
  • Proficient in basic computer functions and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and type a minimum of 40 wpm
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team
