Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, renovation, and maintenance, with excellent technical and verbal communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and assisting with the completion of all resident maintenance requests and property renovations, while ensuring that all equipment, systems, fixtures, and appliances operate satisfactorily. They will also assist with coordination, oversight, training, and supporting of maintenance team members and sub-contractors.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting, organizing, and completing unit turnovers and work orders
  • Coordinating scheduling between residents and maintenance personnel
  • Determining cost-effective construction methods and using personnel, material, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Ensuring that projects are completed in compliance with management-set quality standards
  • Conducting field visits and job quality checks
  • Meeting with vendors, contractors, and inspectors as needed
  • Obtaining vendor/contractor estimates as needed
  • Organizing and maintaining company-owned inventory, tools, and equipment
  • Working within given guidelines/time constraints to complete renovations and repairs
  • Reviewing and approving vendor/subcontractor selections and maintenance team member hiring
  • Coordinating material suppliers and material delivery to job sites
