Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Point of Care Coordinator to join our team at Hospital Sisters Health System. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the implementation and maintenance of Point of Care systems across our network of hospitals and clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Point of Care systems, including test library maintenance, policy and procedure development, and ad hoc report creation.
  • Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff to ensure seamless integration of Point of Care systems with existing laboratory and clinical workflows.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for Point of Care system use, including training and education for laboratory and clinical staff.
  • Work closely with the System Lab Service Line to coordinate implementation of Point of Care changes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for Point of Care system upgrades and maintenance, including planning and implementation.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Applied Sciences or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an accredited laboratory performing Point of Care testing or similar responsibilities.
  • Medical Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist certification or eligibility required.
