Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and regulate inventory levels to guarantee sufficient materials for production.
  • Conduct periodic inventory checks and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain precise inventory records within our ERP system.
  • Coordinate the reception of incoming materials, confirming quantities and quality.
  • Prepare and manage outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
  • Organize and optimize warehouse space for effective storage and retrieval of goods.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Enforce safety standards and protocols within the warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Perform packaging to safeguard products during transportation.
  • Inspect labeling to verify documentation and product information.
  • Execute transactions in the ERP system to finalize shipping processes.
  • Manage shipping orders through freight forwarders and transport services.
  • Complete necessary documentation for international trade and customs compliance.
  • Coordinate shipping methods and special instructions with the sales team.
  • Support procurement and quality returns through receiving functions.
  • Assist in picking, stocking, and other shipping-related tasks as needed.
  • Adjust inventory counts for raw material movements.
  • Tag and label raw materials and components for certification and traceability.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred college degree.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong business writing skills.
  • Experience with shipping carriers such as UPS and FedEx.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with shipping processes, procedures, and software.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: Starting at $18.00 per hour
