LPN - Day Shift Position

The Avalon of Lewis Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a day shift position. As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to residents, delegate and supervise the care provided by our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants, and promote an independent lifestyle for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities, and promote an independent lifestyle.
  • Identify resident medical and behavioral changes and develop and monitor care plans.
  • Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
  • Provide nursing care according to physician's orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
  • Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to residents and assist in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
Requirements:
  • Current nursing license valid in the state of employment.
  • Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community.
Benefits:

Competitive salary range of $30.00/hr.
