Position Overview:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Friends Fellowship Community is tasked with overseeing, guiding, and coordinating all operational aspects of the community. This role ensures that quality care, financial performance, and personnel objectives align with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as the policies of United Church Homes, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Directs business-related functions to achieve the vision of United Church Homes and supports strategic initiatives. Promotes the community while upholding ethical standards in health and retirement services.
  • Financial Oversight: Develops and manages the annual operating and capital budget. Reviews accounts receivable and aids in the timely collection of outstanding balances.
  • Admissions and Marketing: Facilitates the admissions process, monitors census targets, and supports marketing strategies to enhance community visibility.
  • Quality Assurance: Provides guidance to ensure high-quality daily care that meets or exceeds all internal and external standards, while remaining within budget constraints.
  • Human Resources Management: Recruits and retains skilled personnel, plans employee workloads, and ensures adequate training and orientation. Sets clear objectives and performance expectations for staff.
  • Communication: Maintains effective communication with employees and leadership regarding performance and operational matters. Addresses employee grievances and fosters a supportive work environment.
  • Administrative Duties: Attends and participates in various community meetings, assists in policy development, and maintains necessary records and reports as per organizational guidelines.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensures adherence to safety and security protocols, protecting both company and employee assets while promoting equal opportunity in all business activities.

Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Licenses: A current state license is mandatory, along with the ability to meet ongoing state and federal certification requirements.
  • Skills: Strong management, coaching, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.
