As a key member of our team at Arcfield, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining advanced modeling and simulation tools to support space protection-related analysis. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating threat avoidance concepts, developing software tools, and performing predictive analysis of complex systems.



  • Develop and maintain integrated software tools to evaluate satellite protection technologies and tradecraft throughout the system engineering lifecycle.
  • Perform modeling and simulation to support development and tailoring of software, algorithms, and technologies.
  • Conduct orbital analyses and trade studies to inform decision-making.
  • Perform maneuver determination and analysis to ensure safe and effective operations.
  • Campaign modeling and scenario development to support mission planning and execution.

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A Bachelor\u2019s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, physics, or mathematics.
  • Experience with space protection evaluations and collision avoidance evaluations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative technical solutions.
  • Intelligence community domain knowledge and understanding of user needs and operational environments.
  • Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, including independent testing and data verification.
  • Experience developing M&S engineering code to solve hard problems and create repeatable results.
