About the Role

Sciolex Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Systems Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the acquisition of multi-intelligence (multi-INT) software services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Integration of Mission-Focused Tools: You will lead the integration of mission-focused tools to foster increased efficiency, automation, and information sharing.
  • Assist Government Managers: You will assist and advise Government managers responsible for the complete end-to-end life cycle of the customer's Ground Enterprise.
  • Develop Cutting-Edge Tools and Algorithms: You will use and develop cutting-edge mod/sim tools and algorithms to help address some of the most challenging issues regarding automation across the intelligence cycle for the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DOD).
  • Strategize with Partners: You will strategize with government, SETA, and industry partners to conceptualize and prove out a future ground architecture to drive the customer's new space architecture.
  • Analyze User Needs: You will analyze user needs, concept of operations, and high-level systems architectures to develop model/simulation requirements.
  • Develop Code and Scripts: You will develop code/scripts to develop algorithms, perform analyses, and automate data processing to model operational scenarios for system evaluation and mission effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Team: You will work in a collaborative team environment studying and analyzing a wide variety of interesting and complex problems across multiple intelligence domains.
  • Apply Digital Engineering Concepts: You will apply Digital Engineering concepts, processes, and tools to help the government plan and define capabilities needed to better support mission operations (e.g., automation, situational awareness, etc.).
  • Support and Deliver Capabilities: You will support and deliver capabilities in a modular, open architecture that provides global, persistent, real-time surveillance and activity-based intelligence information.
  • Perform Technical Review: You will perform technical review and assessment of concepts, systems, technologies, designs, architectures, interfaces, and operation of space and ground systems.
  • Participate in Technical Interchanges: You will participate in and contribute to technical and programmatic interchanges; identify and resolve issues; and provide engineering and technical advice to the customer.
Qualifications and Physical Requirements
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or Related Discipline and 5 years total experience; relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Practical Understanding of Space and/or Ground Systems
  • Experience Using One or More of the Following: AFSIM, C++, Python, R, SQL, PostgreSQL, Linux, MATLAB, VBA, or STK.
  • Engineering Analysis Experience
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Good Working Knowledge of MS Office Applications
