Job Summary

Comporium is a diversified communications company providing a range of services including voice, video, data, wireless, and security solutions to businesses and organizations. As a Sales Account Manager - Media Services, you will be responsible for managing assigned accounts in a designated territory to provide first-class media services. Your goal will be to evaluate and drive account penetration to help clients achieve their advertising goals and drive revenue for the Enterprise based on assigned targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business relationships with companies to evaluate, prepare, present, and close advertising programs that meet assigned revenue and product sales goals for the territory.
  • Manage and close all accounts to meet assigned sales goals for all assigned digital accounts in the territory, as well as complete all copy and contracts for processing by assigned deadlines.
  • Research existing accounts and prepare effective media advertising proposals to present, close, and meet assigned quotas for account penetration and revenue growth in the territory.
  • Deliver exceptional customer and consultant services to build strong relationships with the account base, helping to maintain monthly recurring revenues and desired retention rates.
  • Manage all account information, sales activities, and sales contracts in a CRM system for effective reporting and commission processing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • At least one year of recent new business acquisition sales experience in the digital marketing field.
  • Basic understanding of web marketing, websites, internet advertising, targeted display, and paid search required.
  • Competitive nature, self-motivated, driven to succeed with exceptional work ethic.
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Position will require ongoing learning through reading, online seminars, and product engagement to stay up-to-date on trends and emerging services in the digital advertising industry.
  • Google and/or Yahoo certification considered a plus.
