EMCOR Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing employee expense reports, and preparing weekly check runs.
Key Responsibilities:
Process job-related invoices, including subcontractors and material purchases
Process employee expense reports in accordance with company guidelines
Prepare weekly check runs, including payments to subcontractors
Reconcile vendor statements, including corresponding with vendors and responding to inquiries concerning payment or invoice issues
Assist project managers in the reconciliation of purchase orders and subcontracts
Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
Strong computer skills, including intermediate MS Excel
Experience with Vista by Viewpoint Construction Software and pVault by Paperless Environment a plus
